Sam "The Dalmation" is staying with friends

Well, last night was the first night that Sam stayed out with Shawn and her boys....I hope he did OK! I imagine he was nervous but with time he will do good. He is going out to Martinsville for a few months while we are in transition with the house and so on....it is quite sad. Today, I have kept trying to find him, then realizing that he is not at home. I can't even imagine what it would be like to lose a child as one would keep having the feeling like they are here, when they are not.

Lori, called and said that Anna went tubbing today with the other grandkids in Mt. Carmel.....I just know she will like that. She is an adventerous gal, who sure does not give up even when given the chance to. I am excited and counting down the days unitl my family returns. We will have to go out and visit Sam, I think Anna will like to go on an adventure trip.

Another Cold Day

Well, it is another cold day. Yesterday was just a tease as it was 68 degrees, then by midnight it was snowing again. You know what they say about Indiana, if you don't like the weather, just wait a day, or in this instance, how about six hours.....anyway, what can we do. March is just around the corner so that is nice. I have to say, that time moves slow without my family, however, I am excited because June 30th is coming very rapidly and that means my certificate!

We are excited about moving to Fort Stewart. Life will be good and warm.....we will probably miss the cold as humidity can get to someone. Lori emailed me today and stated that Arizona seems nice (that is where we plan on going).

Valentine's Day

I love and miss my wife....she is the most important and best thing to ever happen to me! I guess it is hard to be here in Indy while the family is in Utah. I talked with Lori tonight and she said they were making cookies for FHE. That is funny because that is what we did 11 years ago for our first date. Who would have thought that we would be finishing a residency with two beautiful children that are lucky to have such a great and patient mother......if only I can one day be as good as a father as Lori is a mother. It is amazing to watch her with the kids. I sure do miss my family!

Sunday......Sunday

Well today is Sunday and I am totally sick.....went to church this morning eventhough I feel as though I am coming down with the flu (nausea, vomiting and ect). Had to teach the lesson in Priesthood regarding why we actually go to church, it was a good lesson. Well the contract as discussed did fall short so here we go again. Had another showing today, I think the house shows well, I have been working extra hard at keeping it clean. Sam, our dog, does very well with being tied up in the garage, so that does not seem to be an issue.

Well, less than two weeks til I get to pick up my wife and kids. It will probably be amazing to see how much my kids have grown in the time span of one month. I am sure that Cole is now a round mound and Anna is probably talking alot more. Most of all I am excited to see my wife. They talk about black monday for single people on Valentine's day, well, it will be a black monday for me. Valentine's day was the day that Lori and I had our very first date back in 1994; oh my, how time flys.

Contract Fell Short.....Start Again

Well, the deadline for the finalization of the contract was 6:00pm, and that has long come and gone. So I guess we will start over, with the trying to sell this house...I am nervous and anxious to try and sell this house, and to top things off, I looked out my window tonight, and our terrible neighbor to the south put her house up for sell. She is selling it by owner, piggy-backing her way off of our realtor....I can't stand that lady. This is the same neighbor who stole our daughter's kid gate, which I got back by the way! How bitter I am towards her.

Another Saturday apart!

Lori and her sister Ann in St. George, on Ann's front porch. I miss my wife! It will be nice to pick them up in two weeks.....I imagine Cole has changed dramatically and Anna is learning soooo much, it will be like a different son and daughter when I see them. This will have been a good test for when I have to be gone for three months this summer, which will suck by the way, however, one deals with the situation given.

I am still waiting for the finalization of the contract for the house, the longer it is, the more nervous I get. I should not get nervous as it has only been 10 days since we listed our house so we are doing well from that standpoint. I am liking this blog more and more!

Trying to Sell the Home!

Today, we are in the process of finalizing the selling of our home....this makes us very happy, however, what a pain as now we need to find a short term place to live for 3 months. We never thought it would sell in one week, but it did and we are fortunate. This winter has been very cold, and to make things worse, Lori and the kids have been in sunny St. George, however, I am going to pick them up on the 25th of Feb., and we will be all coming home on the 26th. It will be nice to all be home, only to have to move out by March 20th.

The Day I Created This Blog

Today I created this blog, it was the single greatest act of the day......Lori, Anna, and Cole are all in Utah, enjoying the nice weather of St. George, while I suffer in this cold and dark weather of Indianapolis.
