Halloween

Halloween was a fun day for us. We started it early with a Halloween party at Cole's school. It was fun to meet Cole's classmates. After the party we came home and took Anna to school. After Anna got home from school it was hard holding them off from trick-or-treating until night time, but finally at 7:00 the "lady bug and opitus prime" were ready to begin. Everyone was outside with treats ready to share. Cole got tired about half way through the neighborhood. He came back to help Dad pass out candy. Anna went to every house in the neighborhood. Even though she did a little complaining about how heavy her trick-or-treat bag was getting she wasn't about to stop.
After trick-or-treating we had a hayride through our neighborhood. Anna fell asleep on the hayride. She missed the BIG fireworks SHOW that the neighbors had. Cole on the other hand had been sampling his candy through the evening and had energy to spare. Sometime after eleven o' clock he fell asleep.

Children's Museum

Anna and Cole were out for Fall Break this week. We enjoyed some of the activities that were happening around Indianapolis. One day we went to the Children's Museum. Anna and Cole's favorite things to do were to dig for dinosaurs and experiement in the science works exhibit. They liked the haunted house, but they want to go to the "spooky house" next year instead of the "friendly house".

Monkey Bar Monster

Anna's teacher calls her the "monkey bar monster". On our last count she has done 145 monkey bars in a row. You might think the blisters on her hands would slow her down, but it doesn't seem to bother her enough to stop.

Stonycreek Farm

Anna, Cole, and I enjoyed a fun day at the pumpkin patch. We went on a hayride to the patch and had fun picking out the perfect pumpkins to take home. We are enoying the beautiful fall weather and look for any excuse to be outside.

Why do they do this?

The question I want to know is why when Dad tries to take a nap, Anna and Cole tap him on his nose constantly, whereas when Mom takes a nap, there is absolutely no interruption?

Just a little flyer that Mark Gorin sent out to other docs in the state to market the total joint by Walter Lorenz (now Biomet). Thought I would add it....what the heck!
