Reading through the blog

Well today we were going through the blog and looking at pictures and reading about our lives with the kids. Where we got to the day Sam died, I got all choked up and I looked over with Cole in my arms and Cole was sobbing....it was quite a sad but actually enjoyable moment to remember about Sam our dalmatian. http://corbinpartridge.blogspot.com/2005/06/goodbye-sam-partridge.html

After we got through reading through the blog Cole asked me if we could read about Sam again and so we went back, and a second time Cole was sobbing and then told me how much he missed Sam.

My two best friends

Tessa is now two weeks old, and even though in this picture she looks cranky, she is actually a great little baby. But believe me it was very hard to even attempt to get a picture with her two siblings, Anna and Cole.

She is now 7lbs, 6 ounces and is very healthy. Anna and Cole are her two best friends.

Anna's School Picture

Anna is in firstgrade and doing well. She got her pictures back as well. She was the life rule role model and is doing very well in school.....we are very proud of her and how hard she tries.

The Harley Ride

Well the Garrison's came over to visit and Cole and Anna got a ride from Dr. Garrison....what a great time they had and what great people the Garrison Family are (does not even do justice to say they are great, they are awesome!!!!).

One Week Old

Tessa is one week old and the light of our lives. She has already been to three soccer games, one neighborhood party, and been the cause of many wonderful visitors to our home. Our family is so grateful for the generosity and kindness of many friends and neighbors.

Baby Tessa

Baby Tessa was born on September 04, 2009 at 2:58 pm. We feel very blessed. The good Lord blessed us with this young lady who is very beautiful and could not have come at a better time. Lori is doing VERY well and Baby Tessa is doing great as well.

Cole's First Day of School

Cole started school today. Despite what the pictures show, he was excited to start school. (he looks so serious in all of these pictures)

Soccer

The kids are in some Hamilton Southeastern Sports Soccer leagues and have been really enjoying it. We wondered how Anna would do, but after her fourth time out she is really shinning star out there......everyone asks us how long she has been playing and when we said this was only her fourth time on the field, they all think we are lying to them. Cole is also doing well in his own right, he is only four yet finds just being out there is all the fun. The competetive juices have not quite hit him like they have with Anna. I figure patience is a virtue.

First Grade

What do you call a girl who goes to bed very late, wakes-up very early and talks a million miles a minute? A girl who is very excited for first grade.

Indiana State Fair

We enjoyed eating our way through the Indiana State Fair. Lori's favorite: salt water taffy, Corbin's: corn dogs, Cole's: corn dogs, Anna's snow cones. No one was brave enough to try to chocolate covered bacon. It was the strangest food we saw this year (even above the deep fried Pepsi). It was fun to spend the day at the fair before Anna and Cole head back to school.

Symphony on the Prarie

What better way to spend a beautiful summer evening than listening to Billy Joel music played by the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, eating kettle corn, running up and down hills and catching lightening bugs.

Swim Team

Anna and Cole both did swim team this summer. It was a great experience for them. They had practice four days a week and swim meets throughout the season. It was fun to watch them compete and to watch their swimming improve.
