It has been a special day for us. Anna was baptized today. It was special for many reasons. The first that this is a big step for Anna to make this decision. She has told us for awhile that she wanted to be baptized. We have talked a lot about it at home and church and also in a baptism class. She never waivered in her desire. The second reason is that Grandma Jane was able to come. Corbin and I have always thought that Anna resembles her Grandma in many ways and it was so nice for her Grandma to be here with us. The third reason is that Anna was baptized with one of her best friend's Emily. Corbin was able to help baptized Anna and after she was done she held a towel for Emily. When Emily was done she brought Emily a towel and gave her a big hug. She loves her friend so much.
That day we were invited to the Boezeman's for brunch. It was nice to meet their family and so thankful that they included us in their special day. In the evening we had a party for Anna and invited some of the people who have been close to Anna and our family.
What a wonderful day to celebrate Christ and also the lives of two wonderful girls.
