Anna, Cole, and I went to tag monarch butterflies at the Richy Wood Nature Preserve. We learned all about how butterflies grow and eat and their migration patterns. We then got butterfly nets and we looked for butterflies. We didn't catch any butterflies (I don't know how we could have with Cole using his net as a baseball bat), but we enjoyed learning more about the beautiful world around us.

That looks so much fun! That Monarach butterfly is pretty! Doesn't surprise me the way Cole was trying to catch the Butterflies- classic boy!
