Spring is in the Air

Cole and Mom at the Zoo

Cole played hookie from school one morning and we went to the zoo. The butterfly kaleidoscope was amazing to see. I had so much fun spending time with Cole.

Dad and Daughter Date

Anna and Corbin got dressed up and went to dinner one evening. Anna was so excited to go with her Dad.

Cole's Braces

Cole came home from playing at the park and I found out he had actually been at the orthodontist. He has done a good job of brushing and taking care of this teeth. He looks so different now.

Spring Break

We traveled to Utah for our spring break. We had such a fun week enjoying time with our families and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. On the first day we were there we had a cousin's camp and took a 50 mile four wheeler ride on the back side of Zion National Park. It was beautiful and a great way to spend time together. We hiked in Zion, rode horses, and spent time in Salt Lake with Corbin's family. It was a very busy and fun vacation.

Anna's School Musical

Anna tried out for the school play and got the part of "Sketch Often". Sketch Often was a news reporter and I think she was perfect for the part. She had to blow her nose at the end of the play and she did it flawlessly!

State Gymnastics Meet

Cole did a great job at the state gymnastics meet. I am especially proud of him because at his last practice before the meet he fell off the parallel bars pretty hard. At the meet you would have never known that he fell. He did a cast away for the first time in a meet and ended up getting third on the p-bars and fourth over all. It has been so fun to watch him compete this season.

Anna's Piano Recital

Our family enjoyed spending a special evening listening to Anna at her piano recital. She has taken lessons since first grade and she does such a beautiful job. She practiced her songs many times and I am so proud of how well she played them.

Geckos

Tessa, Cole, and spent a fun afternoon at the Children's Museum looking at the new gecko exhibit. I love sneaking them out of school every once in awhile.

Circle of Stars

We had a fun weekend watching Anna perform for Circle of Stars, a gymnastics meet in Indianapolis. Cole competed and did a great job. He got first place in the parallel bars and second in every other event, including second overall. It was even more special because Grandma Jane was here to watch them.

We have had so much fun with all of the snow in Indiana. We went to the toboggan run in Angolia. It was so much fun going down the hill. Carrying the sled back up the hill was not quite as fun.

Merry Christmas

We have had such a fun Christmas with our little family. The day has gone quickly but I think we managed to play with all of the toys that Santa left. We were so happy to have our neighbors come and share the evening with us. They are like our family and I can't image celebrating without them. I love the anticipation of Christmas and the traditions we have started and continue to start each year. We have had fun having Eddie at our house and can't wait for him to return next year. It has been fun to talk to my Mom and and each of my sisters. I love hearing about their families and catching up with them.  I am so blessed and happy today for so much.

Ice Skating

No snow this year.....so it was ice skating for Christmas Eve!!!!

Cole's Birthday

For Cole's birthday we took him to Bonefish Grill. We all had a great time! Hard to believe this little guy is 8 years old now!!!

Justin Springs Gymnastics Invite

Cole did great today!!!! Level 5 and one if the youngest!!!! Still managed two medals on the High Bar and Rings!

Happy Tenth Birthday Anna

For Anna's tenth birthday we took her on a  date to a fancy restaurant. We got dressed up and had a wonderful evening with Anna. She is growing up into a beautiful girl and we feel so lucky to have her in our family.
