Well, we went fishing tonight to top off the day and would you know it, Anna and Cole each caught their first fish......three little bluegill sunfish that were more than exciting for the kids. We caught them at dogwood pond on Ft. Stewart!!!!! We had alot of fun!!!!

The Train

Well today after we went to the FSGA Memorial, we decided to go see the big red train......Cole loves trains, Anna was not so sure about it!!!!

Well, today is memorial day and we had a good time. We went to the Fort Stewart, GA 3rd Infantry Division memorial that was set up for soldiers who had been KIA during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. It was really the first time that we had been there. We tried to teach the kids the meaning of memorial day and what this memorial was all about. The most somber moment for me was seeing LT Ashley Huff memorial. I was at the Combat Support Hospital in Mosul, Iraq when they brought her body in, killed in action from an IED blast. I remember, b/c she was part of the 3rd ID (549th MP Unit), where we are stationed.

Its been awhile....

Well all is well, we have been very busy over the last little while.....we can't complain as life is good. We have been trying to find a job once the next 14 months transpire and we are through with Corbin's military obligation. We are thinking about Indiana for the most part where we want to go live, but we have been traveling all over trying to find a practice to join.

Corbin took his Oral Board for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and found out recently that he passed part two and is now a diplomat with ABOMS. Cole and Anna are growing up fast and life with them is always an experience.

I just recieved word that I passed the second part of my board from ABOMS. What a long process.....this was for sure the single most stressful event of my life.....the studying 2 hours a night, four nights a week from Novemeber to Feb 12th of this year paid off!!!!!!

Cole's Birthday

Cole had his birthday today and I have to tell you he is such an enjoyable child. Always happy however no and then getting in a little trouble as he likes to hit and pull on Anna. We had over Judd and Steph and their kids for the birthday. They made little trains out of candy and opened toys. I think Coles favorite toy was the big trucks that he got. After everyone went home we had an enjoyable time looking at old pictures as they love to look at Mom and Dad's pictures of when they were little.

Anna's birthday

It was a great day....great party and great fun!!!!! Anna had over some really good friends from school. The party was a hit, the birthday cake was all about Dora and Anna thought it was the best!

I think Anna's favorite toy was the Dora Scooter that she got. She is all about Dora these days. She is still a very good girl who is very concerned about following the rules and being a good kid. She always says that "Partridge's are good kids."

Thanksgiving

Well we went over to Judd, Stephanie, Tanner, and Austin's house for dinner which was very nice. We all had a very good time.

Pumpkin Picking

We all went out to pick a pumpkin....however they were closed we were still able to have fun and get a couple of pumpkins at the self pay portion of the farm. Anna loved the Cat and Cole did too, however I think the Cat was afraid of Cole.

Fishing with Dad

Anna and I went Fishing, however we did not catch anything, Anna did great and learned how to cast and she did however think she caught the plastic orange fish that I put on her line.

Anna has a new hobby...that is taking pictures with Lori's Camera. She does a wonderful job. Above are some pictures that she took of us when Uncle Judd and Aunt Stephanie with their two kids Tanner and Austin visiting for Columbus Day.
