Cole's New Tunnel
Cole's New Popper Opening Presents
Cole....loving Anna's Little Pony Toy
Anna's new tent and sleeping bag!!!

Well we all got up, Cole especially early at 5 am which has become his thing the last two or three days, however, he went back down then at about 7:30 am Anna came into Mom and Dad's room and I asked her if Santa came and with BIG WIDE eyes she said yesssssssss!!!!! So we went in and had a wonderful morning...before we opened presents we noticed Santa had eaten all of the cookies and drank the milk, we all got dressed, waited for Baby Cole to wake up and then ate French Toast for breakfast.......

Santa was nice to the kids.....all the Grandparents were more than generous as now the kids have way tooooooooo muuch stuff for Mom and Dad to put away everyday...but that is what this is all about making the kids smile on this great day we celebrate the birth of Christ!

I can't believe how nice it is outside, this is not the typical white Christmas, but I will take this beautiful weather that we have here in Georgia anyday....we were outside all day today and the kids were loving it....it is great that we are able to enjoy this ....the streets were filled with children riding bikes and climbing trees.....what a great time!

Lori and Anna made sugar cookies for Santa.....when I asked Anna who she was making cookies for she told me Santa, I asked her if Dad could have one and she told me "Of course Daddy, Of Course!"

Thanksgiving Day

What a day....it has been great! I woke up at 4:30 am and and went Hunting by myself, as everyone is out of town....took my great little civic....Little Lee, as we call him and went out to the woods...set up my tree stand and waited all the cold out and then at 8:10 am there they were, a bunch of wild hogs.....just running around...I waited for a side shot and when it was all said and done, I fired off four shells from my Marlin 30-30 and hit two hogs each (two times).....what a great morning...I came home and the kids loved the pigs...Anna kept calling them deer, b/c the other day "Army Chuck" got a deer and we cleaned it and quartered it in my garage.

We decided to not do the traditional big Thanksgiving Dinner, instead Lori made some incredible Halibut, she is a superb chef...I say chef, not cook for a reason....incredible! Football was on, which is a tradition that I abide by! Anyway, we had a great day and plan on heading south for the rest of the weekend...

Cleaning up the yard

We all cleaned up the leaves on this lended out riding lawn mower, it was very nice to do leaves on this vs. raking! Kids had fun with Dad too!

Novemeber in Georgia

Well, we have had a great four day weekend, and to top it off, the weather is just absolutely great! I have to say these things are wonderful. Work was great today, and coming home to see Lori and the kids even better....here are two cute pictures of what the scene was upon arriving home and walking out to the back yard. Anna painting her master piece and Cole climbing on the swingset which Anna calls "The Park."

Indian Summer

Well, what can we say, this weather is awesome....we still have the air conditioner set, as this weather is still very warm. I can only imagine what June/July/August will be like. We are doing good, the kids are having fun and enjoying time here.

Anyway, I have to admit that I do enjoy the time that I get to spend with my wife and two children. Never before have I been able to spend so much time with them. It is great!

Growing up

Well, it is amazing, but I think Cole is ready to start to walk. I don't think he will actually be walking yet, but boy does he want to. Tonight, Lori and I noticed he is trying to get up on his hind legs without walking along anything.....unsuccessful as he may be, at least he is trying.....he is so cute. They both got haircuts yesterday and they are very cute.

Anna has learned to write A's and now mimics everything.....yesterday she told me she wanted a popsickle, well when I told her she could not have one until after dinner she looked at me and said, "What did I tell you, I said I wanted a popsickle!" I could not help but laugh, b/c that is what I always tell her.

Great family is what we have here.

Happy Halloween

Anna and Cole had a great time trick of treating for Halloween. Anna was a cowgirl and Cole was a pumpkin. We went to some houses in our neighborhood. It was a beautiful night and lots of fun because there were so many other kids out trick or treating.

Sunday Night

Well, we both spoke in church today and it went well. Lori did a great job and everyone told me how well she did just to validate it. Tonight the kids were outside playing and they are just so cute that I wanted to post these pictures online.

Anna has decided she wants to be a triangle when she grows up. We started potty training last week and she is doing great. She has only had a couple of accidents. We have had a couple of critters in our house. I found a frog on the wall one day and a gecko ran in our front door one evening. Just some new experiences in a new place.

Work going better

Well, it has been about a week since I got my credentials to actually start work...eventhough we are slow, I am finally doing some surgeries....which is nice seeing how that is what I do, operate. It was rough there for awhile, just doing paperwork to try and inprocess.....incredible all the crap that one has to do to inprocess in the army....they paid me alot of money for the month of September for doing absolutely nothing. We have some good stuff coming up so I am exicted to get to the OR.

Moving forward

Anna and Cole in Hinesville riding "Anna's" tricycle.

Things are good and getting better. I have to admit, that we are slowly adjusting to Hinesville, GA. We have great neighbors and just up the road lives Craig and Jennifer Rhyne, Craig is my collegue at the hospital where we have a good relationship. I think that as time moves on we will grow to more and more like this place.

Lori is such a great girl. She has got the house looking very nice. This is a nice house. We have great landlords in the Ruckarts out of Florida. They are very nice and soooo helpful. We got our furniture that we bought from Havertys yesterday and it looks nice. We started to hang pictures on the wall so that is nice. I enjoy having more time to spend with the family. I don't think I have ever had this much time to spend with Lori since we have been married.
